Denise Lowell-Britt has been practicing law at Udall, Shumway & Lyons since 1987 and has been a partner of the firm since 1993. Ms. Lowell-Britt is very pleased to devote her practice entirely to representing school districts, charter schools and other public educational institutions. She heads the firm's education law practice group.
Education Law
Ms. Lowell-Britt provides daily advice and assistance to school districts and other public educational institutions. She represents and defends educational institutions in administrative and court proceedings. Ms. Lowell-Britt advises and represents school districts and charter schools in matter that include: student disciplinary hearings, personnel issues, student records, governing board liability and open meeting issues. She has also given numerous in-service workshops to district personnel on a wide range of topics of importance to the educational operations of the districts and is a regular speaker to state-wide conference.
Ms. Lowell-Britt was selected as a Top Education Lawyer in November 2006 by Phoenix Magazine, has an AV rating from Martindale Hubbel, and was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2008 and 2009 edition of "The Best Lawyer in America" in the specialty of Education Law.
