April Speelmon graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1997. During law school, she was a member of the Moot Court team and Law Review. After graduating from law school, Ms. Speelmon joined the law offices of Udall, Shumway. April's favorite experience in law school was tutoring and teaching contract law to foreign law school students who were struggling with the English language and, consequently, grades. As an undergraduate, April majored in English. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University in 1994. Ms. Speelmon lived in France for a year and a half and speaks French.

Ms. Speelmon practices in the area of commercial litigation. She represents businesses and individuals in Mesa and the surrounding community who are involved in contract disputes. Ms. Speelmon has experience in construction law, and has represented both contractors and subcontractors.

Ms. Speelmon is licensed to practice in the Arizona state courts as well as the United States District Court, District of Arizona. When not "at the office," April enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also loves to hike, jog, ski (both snow and water) and read.
