• Advises and assists school districts with the dedication of real property for subdivision developers.
• Negotiates and drafts agreements for the installation of telecommunication towers (aka cell site towers) on school property, including preparation of option for easement agreements, easement agreements and contractual disputes related thereto.
• Provides legal advice and representation relating to the sale, acquisition and lease/purchase of real property, including preparation of deeds and escrow instructions, addendums to leases, purchase agreements, easements, refinancing, hazards, etc., including acquisition of gifts of real property to school district.
• Evaluates and defends school districts in lawsuits pertaining to real estate contract disputes, condemnation actions and similar matters.
• Assists school districts on real property leases and the lease of personal property.
