Sheri Shepard practices in the area of Family Law. She joined Udall, Shumway & Lyons in 2005. She earned an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and worked as a paralegal in Family Law for seven years before returning to school. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2002. She then attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas where she received her Juris Doctor in May 2005.

While attending law school, Ms. Shepard was President of the Washburn Moot Court Council, and argued at the Dominick L. Gabrielli National Family Law Competition in Albany, New York. She was a student editor for the American Bar Association’s Family Law Quarterly Bar Journal for four editions.  She was a legal intern for the Washburn Law Clinic where she successfully represented clients in divorce, child custody and paternity actions.  Additionally, she was a law clerk for an AV rated firm in Topeka.

Ms. Shepard was raised in Tucson and moved to the East Valley in 1994.  She has gone through her own divorce and thus has personal experience with the emotional and practical issues surrounding it. She treats each client as an individual and zealously advocates for each client whether they are male or female. By working as a paralegal before becoming an attorney, she gained experience with all aspects of the legal profession.
