Angelica Burk is a member of the School Law section, representing the firm’s education law clients throughout the state.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Angelica worked as a Special Education teacher for emotionally disabled students. After law school, Angelica worked as an Attorney Editor for Thomson Reuters Westlaw and helped develop their newest legal research software, Westlaw Precision. After obtaining her license, Angelica practiced in Family Law and handled high conflict custody disputes, high asset dissolutions, third-party rights, orders of protection and injunctions against harassment.
At Udall Shumway, Angelica primarily focuses her practice on special education issues, but also handles state and federal complaints against schools.
