Curtis M. Chipman
Curtis M. Chipman joined the law firm of Udall Shumway PLC in 1997 and is part of the firm’s Transactional Section. Mr. Chipman has a broad based transactional practice. Mr. Chipman’s real estate transactional practice primarily involves the review and drafting of purchase agreements, lease agreements, easement agreements and other documentation related to real estate transactions. Mr. Chipman’s business association practice primarily involves drafting documentation related to business acquisitions, sales, formation and dissolution. His probate, wills and trusts practice involves the representation of individuals as personal representatives of a probate estate or as a trustee of a trust and preparing the necessary documentation for an estate plan of an individual which typically includes a Last Will & Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, Living Will and in some cases, a Revocable Trust. Mr. Chipman’s practice also includes representation of a number of school districts with respect to business transactional matters.
Mr. Chipman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University’s School of Accountancy in 1994. After working for a certified public accountant for a short time, Mr. Chipman attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and graduated Cum Laude in 1997.
