Lincoln M. Wright
Lincoln Wright graduated from Arizona State University in 1996 with a bachelor’s in English and from Boston College Law School in 1999. Since his admission to the Arizona State Bar in 1999, he has worked closely with his father, H. Micheal Wright, focusing on personal injury and nursing home litigation. He has gained expertise in nursing home regulations and interactions with government agencies, nursing home standards of care, and Medicare liens. He is also skilled in legal research and writing. In 2013 Mr. Wright won a case at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Clark v. Renaissance West, LLC, which makes it easier for nursing home residents to challenge mandatory arbitration agreements and keep their right to sue if nursing homes injure them. In 2018, he wrote the appellate briefs for the prevailing party in Kopp v. Physician Group of Arizona, Inc., a hospital negligence case in which the Arizona Supreme Court overturned nearly 75 years of precedent.
Mr. Wright is a member of the American Association of Justice and the Arizona Association of Justice. He is proud to be a Partner at Udall Shumway and looks forward to many years as a lawyer on the side of people.
