Meghan Baka

Meghan Baka joined Udall Shumway in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Baka worked in the public sector as an attorney at the Internal Revenue Service Office of Chief Counsel where she practiced labor and employment law, administrative law, and procurement. Ms. Baka received her J.D., cum laude, from Tulane Law School. Ms. Baka served as the co-chair of the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition, a simulated salary arbitration competition modeled closely on the procedures used by Major League Baseball. During law school, Ms. Baka worked at the Ella Project where she provided pro bono legal services to low-income artists and musicians on matters related to contract negotiation, labor and employment, intellectual property, and business information. Ms. Baka was also a member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Honors Legal Program, where she conducted legal research and drafted memorandums on various federal securities law matters in the SEC Division of Enforcement.
