Sam Gordon began his legal career in Washington, where he and his business partner managed their own firm. After graduating from Gonzaga School of Law in Spokane, WA, Mr. Gordon represented clients across a variety of legal issues, including contract drafting, civil litigation, personal injury, family law, and estate planning. Later, Mr. Gordon worked for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration, investigating employer-sponsored health and retirement plans. There, Mr. Gordon learned how to dissect and analyze corporate financial records as well as how to interview/investigate C-Suite corporate stakeholders.

While he prides himself on his ability to implement outside-of-the-box thinking and settlement strategies, Mr. Gordon has achieved great success in the courtroom as well. Mr. Gordon’s life experience (as a husband, as a father, as a soldier) and his extensive legal training have positioned him perfectly to rise to any legal challenge and to advance his client’s goals. Today, Mr. Gordon represents Udall Shumway clients with the same enthusiasm as when he was a new attorney, but with a level of expertise that only comes after representing hundreds of clients across a wide variety of complex legal issues, including substantial trial experience.

Sam was born and raised in Arizona, attending Saguaro High School and then ASU after serving four years in the United States Army’s 2nd Ranger Battalion.
