Child Support in Arizona is calculated using the Arizona Child Support Guidelines. The Arizona Child Support Guidelines use the Income Shares Model to calculate child support. Each family has different circumstances and there is not a “usual amount” for any family. It depends of the incomes of the parties along with other factors in order to determine the appropriate amount of child support in a case. If child support has already been ordered in your case and is not being paid, then you have the right to file a Petition with the court to enforce the court order regarding child support to enforce the court’s judgment.
