Brooks to Speak at ASU Event for Pre-Law Students
Family Law Attorney Jonathan D. Brooks will address the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies (SHPRS). This event is for SHPRS Pre-Law students and seek to provide information regarding careers in the legal profession. The session will take place on Friday, April 13th from 1:00 p.m.-2:15 p.m. in Lattie F. Coor, room 4403 on the ASU Campus.
Mr. Brooks is a SHPRS alumnus who will share his experience using his SHPRS degree to succeed in the legal field. Students attending the event are primarily undergraduates on the pre-law track. There will also be advisors and educational counselors in attendance, sharing general tips on how to get into law school during the first portion of the program.
Mr. Brooks obtained his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2010. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, was on the Distinguished Honor Roll, and received a Pro-Bono Honors Certificate. Mr. Brooks received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Arizona State University in 2006. Jonathan is very active in the community and enjoys connecting with students who aspire to careers in the legal profession.
